Each year i go to school its the same old thing. “We have added this this and this to better you child’s learning environment.” The next few statements that come are a load of bull. The united states as a whole has lowered its standards in learning so much, its ridiculous. I mean, the new act no child left behind is one thing. Though when your in a class with 30 other kids and because one kids being slow the other 29 are held back? I don’t know about you but i don’t see the logic. We spend so much money a year on special needs students in America. So much money is granted to them, so its sad how they get all this money yet we cant seem to keep the schools we have running efficiently enough. Personally i think the u.s would save so much more money if they flat out built specific schools, built for those people around there needs. It would make so much more sense.
Spring break, were all out having our fun, thats what its for right? I was out with my friends, playing on the computer and with my bf a lot of spring break having a great time. I hadnt yet realized what was happening. Monday morning i have 5 people run up to me, asking if one of my friends had texted me. Tottaly confused i checked my phone, no texts. I walk to my 1st class and i see a group of my friends crying, i finally realized something was terribly wrong. And my cellphone rang. A drunk driver Saturday night hit one of my friends car. That man got out of his car, not a damn scratch on him but she was carried out in a black bag. There are no consequences the USA could ever give, that would suffice that would even begin to amount to the pain he has caused,me,my other friends, and most of all her parents. They always tell you, that pain, losses make us stronger, but i felt so weak. I felt there was nothing, just emptiness that i couldn’t help her. I posted about fear, and her parents must have faced the greatest fear in their life. And my friend as she realized that car was going to hit her and she wasnt coming out. Anyone who decides to read this and is of a drinking age, dont drive please. Yoiu could cuase unbareable pain to so many people as me and my friends had to deal with.
Get your credits get your credits!!!! That’s all school is, a detention hall to ship kids off to. When i sit in school i listen to a teacher, i do the work im told to do, but in the next year i wont remember half of the things i was taught, know why? it was useless!!!!! We go to school 6-7 hours a day, then come home. We go back and even then half of the things we were taught don’t stick, few things i’ve learned in school, minus math, have been useful. I enjoy going to school for some things, though our school division is slowly taking them all away. Choir something i love, a passion to me is slowly dwindling away from us. Why send a kid to school with no outlet. Students spend more time at school then they do their own house minus the sleeping time. Why are we going to sit there when we have nothing to look forward to. Our school division doesn’t think that our extra curricular activities are useful, but ya know what they will support all the sports! god forbid we not have to spend 100$ to travel to a football game. Some of us just are not the football type, so when we enjoy our choir, band, or family and consumer sciences. They could all be taken away due to lack of funds thanks to the wonderful people on our county, but ya know we cant fault them not completely.
Ever been around people you just know don’t like you, and you really don’t like the. But unfortunately your stuck in the same building and nothing you can do about it. And they just don’t know when to leave you the hell alone, they always wanna find something to get under your skin but you try and ignore it! but it always ends up getting to you and its so annoying. Then you Finally say something to harsh for what it should have been, and you end up the trouble maker in the whole situation! not this other person, damn i hate people like that……..
One morning in 1903, Albert J. Parkhouse arrived as usual at his workplace, the Timberlake Wire and Novelty Company in Jackson, Michigan,When he went to hang his hat and coat on the hooks provided for the workers, Parkhouse found all were in use. Annoyed-and inspired-Parkhouse picked up a piece of wire, bent it into two large oblong hoops opposite each other, and twisted both ends at the center into a hook. Then he hung up his coat and went to work. The company apparently thought it was a good idea, because they took out a patent on it. The company made a fortune; Parkhouse never got a penny.
